The Tahoe Maritime Museum by Homewood has some similarly beautiful specimens on display. They may have that outboard on their "wall of motors".

Most of the older woody's I've seen are direct drive inboards....which are still allowed I believe.  Probably gonna have to slap a 4 stroke on that baby if someone wants to cruise Tahoe on it.

Your right about that. Already have two contacts of people who are considering buying it for their larger Tollycrafts.

You should look into some of the woodboat forums too. People that own them have to be fanatical and borderline obsessed to be able to own or maintain them. Someone will snap it up.
