Well one thing about lousy WX is that it leaves lot's of time for projects. I finished the Pay It Forward rod and reel and it is pretty sweet (see page 1). I rigged it for kelp cutting but it should work for most anything, even sand dabs.  :smt005 My advice is to buy lots of raffle tickets because you want this rig.  :smt007

Got a few more things to add to the raffle.

One of these.....

http://www.americangamingsupply.com/8-players-texas-hold-em-casino-4-folds-deluxe-poker-table-top-w-carrying-bag.aspx

and one of these...

Tom Stienstra (sorry pot not included) book

http://www.amazon.com/Moon-California-Fishing-Complete-Handbooks/dp/1566918405/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1278388163&sr=8-1

Additionally have some small items (gaff, knocker, alum hawg trough, etc) may be raffled as a package. Oh and a surf casting set up (11' spin set up)

Porky, should I just bring then to the event?

Wow!  I just had a moment to review this thread and all I can say is "You Guys Rock!".

Unfortunately I can't make it to the paddle, but I'll see if I can come up with an item or two for the raffle as well.

Way to help a brother out!

By the way... Many of you remember how the money used to flow when I used to coordinate the raffle at the Elk tourneys.  We were supporting Coastside at the time to fight the MLPA stuff.  We had like 60 folks contribute almost $4K in 2008 for that raffle.  That's an average of over $60 per person.

How much more important is this issue than that piddly MLPA B.S.?

Certainly the magnitude of the raffle prizes and amount of support thus far is on par with the importance of the cause.  Let's make sure the donations also match the importance of the cause!

Remember what you've shelled out for raffles in the past and double it... triple it... we all have a friend right now that needs it way more than we do.

Well done fellas!

As stated before, Paypal doesn't do raffle links.  If you cannot attend this event, but would still like to participate in this raffle, drop me a PM or an email ([email protected]) and we can work something out.

Just a reminder guys...

For every $20 you donate at this event you get a raffle ticket...

This also includes your suggested paddle donation...

This also includes any sponsors you get for your paddle....

I know of a guy who’s got $250 in sponsors already.... So ask your friends, family and co workers to sponsor you, that’s a ticket for for every $20. The deal here is to raise money....

Thanks for all the support!

Keep in Mind that the MLPA fund donations are separate.

For anyone who donated to the actual Pay It Forward Paddle via PayPal, i have a list of your names and dontaion amount, just see me at the event and well get your tickets to you.
