ARW Pre-derby fishing 6/12

Got to the ARW boat launch at 7:30am and it's low tide (be prepare to get dirty tomorrow guys).  Met Sledge, Martianfish, and Bird of Prey at the launch.  We're chatting while waiting for Chad and his friend John show up.  Thank you John for picking up the Shiners.  We launched around 8am and the wind was not too bad but it's gusting as time went on.  The windy condition made the water muddy so I guessed the Hali can't see our Shiners!  Hope you guys doing better tomorrow (I don't think you can do any worse)    Chad "almost" caught a fish.  Heard lots of his cursing over the VHF  Here are some pictures of the day...

water looked nice...  must be in the right place to shelter from that wind today,

that's good news for tomorrow....

Sorry - no luck , and you got to work on Sunday.  At least you left a few hali's for us!!  (I hope)!!

Google 210 Central Ave., Alameda 94501.  That's the High School right next to the launch.

I had a lot of fun that day!!!  I sort of thread jacked Martians post with a bunch of pics from sat...but for me it was all one trip...lots of fun...no fish...2 days not a bump....caught a good size buzz though!!!   

I used our NCKA human GPS system Brdopry/MartianFish...thx bro...man I wouldn't of found it with out you...and your dad!!! NCKA Rocks!!!

That last pic of the sunset was was like Xmas waiting for the next DAY!  Couldn't wait "BuTT" the Grinch stole xmas!!!

That's my nutty nephew Chad you met down there.....he makes me soooo proud! 

Yeah Anticipation was killing me...And with all the posts I'd read...Lol... Chads good peeps...He's jonesing for the Ocean the big blue is calling...

PS Thanks again Sonny for breakfest/lunch/dinner!!!    I didn't eat that morning either...notice the tide on my yak...took me a while to get in the water...BSing in the parking lot...

The nxt time i go BuTT hunting will be my 3rd and I'm hoping that's a good sign...if not...Party On!!!
