Went to Cherry Lake to find a lot of WIND and waterfalls.  Trolled for about 4 hours with only one strike.  Even tried bank fishing but ran out of beer so had to leave.  Saw one little fish we could not identify-see pic.  Any ideas?  Also saw a coyote, bald eagle and osprey.  Clavey and Touloumne rivers are both raging!

All in  all, a great day

If we are talking about the same lake, we camped across the lake before for four
days. We tried trolling as well and didn't catch any fish. But when we saw were the inlet of the lake was, we saw so many fish there I almost pissed my shorts. We caught our limit each time we went. Of course we only kept what we were going to eat at the camp.

When I was younger I used to bring small fish, just like that one, home for my aquarium. I was hoping to learn their secrets so I could become the awesome master of fish fisherman. Didn't work out exactly as planned but was cool to watch them little critters. Was really surprised to find that lazy looking catfish would come to life in the middle of the night, chasing other inhabitants and creating havoc by trying to knock the lid off.
That there critter be a green sunfish!!

Glad you enjoyed the day OTW Jody.  Thank you for the report and picture of the cute little Sunfish.
