Epic day on the dirty D 6/10 PBin it

after meeting sledge(mike) and sailtroller *(scott) at GS4 we made plans to get out after some sturgeon , today we put those plans in effect and the pressure was on me to get these guys hooked into some sturgeon, sledge talked about the last time they went out into big winds and sandbars along with no fish so i gave um my word that they would not run into any sandbars and if the wind picked up i would have a backup plan that would put us in calm waters , didnt give um my word on sturgeon though although sledge did to scott but thats putting your money on a longshot cuz sturgeon fishing can tricky like that, i assured everyone we would have a good plan and execute it giving it our best shot, thats all anyone could do.

few hours after anchoring n a few beers i think i rboke the ice with a small shaker , good sign i told them and it got everyones blood pumping , then outta nowhere i seen mikes rod going crazy and shouted at him something " GET THAT SHITTT!!"and he grabed it , set it and his rod was doubled over! STURG ON!!!, the fish did all the usual tricks criss crossing into the lines n all that , i didnt wanna reel um up hoping for a double hookup but this fish had alot of energy and we didnt wanna screw things up so the lines came in , mike was juiced shoutin up a storm , high fives n all that good stuff , fish even jumped for him whoo hooo! scott grabs the snare and we get it around the fish and the fish EXPLODES  into a fury splashing water all in our faces while we all pulled the fish in through the back of the boat , get it on the floor and its big as fuck! girthy too , seeing that girth i thought it could be over the slot cuz my perception of lengh was all fuzzy, then as i got to my knees to subdue it it went balistic tail slapping my face nearly knocking me out! hahahaha scott has a video where it happens , hopefully he can get it on here , dam fish! after measuring it hella times to be sure it ended up being 64 inches n some change , what through me off was how girthy it was! huge head, im like "naw man lets measure it one more time to be sure" but it was legit

the rest of the day was a shaker here a shaker here but no more biggins , income tide ended up being pretty slow but we killed a few cases of beer which is always fun , shot the shit and just enjoyed the day , went home at around 430 i think then cleaned the fish and went home.
