Sorry to hear that Sledge... Well paddle for both of your parents as well man, that's what its all about!!

Thanks bro I'm sure we will be paddling for all those that don't speak up!!!  and I'm sure there's a lot...

And bring my crabtrap too Sledge. There m/b a few dungies crawling around Santa Cruz. You might want to save Sunday for fishing too---there are better spots on the south side of the bay near Monterey & Carmel. Maybe we can hit one of the good spots on Sunday if not too hungover/drained from the Pay It Fwd Paddle!

PK FM1 was asking if I had it still...could've did the hand off to AL...but this is even better...not sooner but @ a event...thanks for lending it...it caught 2 reds @ shelter and albion nailed 2 keeper dungy's from the dock in 2 pulls and than that was it....tasty though!!! thanks bro...see ya there...I'll be headed that way the 14th!!
It's all about Today!!! Because who knows what tomorrow will bring... so Better get OTW n GetSome

Custom Rod - Step #1 - Handle & Tip - 2 1/2 hours

Spined the rod and glued on the tip. Next I cut 6" off the butt section. Then I reamed the cork grips for an hour. I really like cork because of the traditional look and feel but on these large diameter saltwater rods, the reaming seems to go on forever.  :smt005 Then I glued up the handle with paste epoxy.

Looks like Henry Cowell campground has some sites available for Friday night. (I just checked almost all of the local campgrounds for openings)Maybe book one of these then hope for a walk-up site for Sat. Or go foofoo and get a hotel for Sat night.

EDIT: Or if you have a disability, you can still get a spot at Big Basin Redwoods campground for Fri-Sunday: http://www.reserveamerica.com/camping/Big_Basin_Redwoods_Sp/r/campsiteDetails.do?siteId=182&contractCode=CA&parkId=120009

I was able to get a camp site at Costanoa KOA about 24 miles north for 7/17 Saturday.  A little ways but still better than going back all the way to Livermore.  It looks nice and I can still fish the next day.   Thanks for the suggestions.

Sign me up as well Brent. I'll make sure to bring some Bipstek for Mooch for the potluck and some cold ones.

Jedmo

I'll have a taste of that bipstek Jedmo.  Hey, I must have just missed you at ARW.  Did not know you where there.  I did not get there till 10 and you must have gone back fishing when I finally made it back.  Hope to you see you in SC.
