Anyone planning on hitting the opener on Sunday? We are thinking of HMB but if the WX is not so good then we will do a plan B at Paradise.

Don,

Was that when we got caught in the fog at Da' Bean? I didn't know until later that you lost your gps...

After you headed in, I caught a nice Ling, then started to head in, reached into my vest for my gps..... and I left it home.....

See ya soon.

Talk about a voice from the past... LOL
What campsite do you have at Albion this year Don??
Looks like the wx might lay down for you guys on Sunday, only about 18 mph. WAY stronger the days before. Hopefully it will lay down even more than is predicted.

Hoping the weather does a 180. I'll be there if it cooperates. Been working in Pt. Arena lately and noticed the gates to the fort locked up. I read that it is open fri-sun, but you would think that the state would be better off opening it up all week. Between fishing and diving they might make a buck. Shit, close the visitor's center and don't man the gate. It would be better than nothing. What do I know. Hope to be there!

Sun...SW winds 10 kt. Wind waves 2 ft or less. NW swell 4 to 6 ft.

Looks like it might be getting better.. still on the fence ARW or the Fort?

Easy launch as long as the gates open. 2hrs or less  from city. Just drive to Bdoega and follow Highway 1 till you see the Fort( about 20 miles or so)

Hey all,
Weather permitting, I will be there to join you all at Fort Ross Sunday AM.   For those that have not been before, go ahead and drive down to the very bottom, unload your boat, then drive back up to the parking lot and then walk back down.  Roll-eez are helpful if you have them (a hundred yards or so over the sand before the launch).
See ya!

I would love to fish the fort for the opener. I don't think I will be able to get away this weekend but I'll see you guys there if I can get free.
