Pulled another all nighter from 4pm to 5 am on the water. Water was beautiful and fish were extremely plentiful. Lost over 20 fish, not sure what was going on but there were coming off the arrows when we got them to the boat.

I shot the biggest fish of the night at 17.4 pounds. Can't wait to do it again!

I would have more pictures but it's just too exciting to be videotaping!

Ca anyone ID the smaller silver carp in this first picture?

Those are some pigs!  I need to do that again, it has been easily 20 years since I bowfished.

Delta and Clear Lake has some pigs in it.

If anyone wants any for crab bait or their garden let me know. Id rather not waste these fish. But atleast I am helping the bass fishery out some!

That looks like a ton of fun dude but what are you gonna do with all that fish. I was raised that if you kill it you need to grill it. Lot's of things died at the end of my pellet gun as a kid but I did eat most of it. The things that tasted nasty I didn't shoot again.

Maybe you could find some way to turn it into dog food or something? I just hate to see that kind of thing go to waste.

May the fish be mighty and the seas be meek...

I have not bowfished in a LONG time.  Last outing was decades ago and we bent the rear axle of my buddies little beater Mazda pickup with the load of carp we ended up with.  He had a tree and brush cutting business and he put the carp through his chipper shredder with the brush he trimmed and then plowed everything under.....His vegetable garden was the stuff of local legend back then.  Carp can also be processed into pig feed with solid results. I have also seen carp steamed and canned for use as cat/dog food.

I would love to get back into bowfishing on of these days.  Getting decent arrows is key to them not pulling out.

Carp are not native to North America.
