Hit the lake with my lady and Kristopher. Stayed @ A buddies cabin in the Oak Shores area A stones throw from the lake... Got up early Sat morning and hit the docks for some shad.. Catching those things with dip nets really sucks.. Patience is the key. After loading up on some agents I decided to troll towards the west ramp. Fishing in the yak was super slow! Managed A couple of white bass near the shoreline. After A couple hours I head back to the docks where Kris and my buddy had been fishing, to see there stringers loaded up with fish. Decided to hang the yak up and join them... What A blast! Kris dominated the day with some great white bass...... He can really fish. Left the camera @ home so no pics! :smt009... I know Eric.. No pics= Didnt happen...  :smt004... Did manage one pic with my buddies camera will post as soon as he Emails to me.... Was hopeing to meet up with A fellow brotha JK but never made the hookup. I had no cell or vhf radio....... Until next time...Andy

I got out there late on sat night and only got a handful of whites between 6-9pm - it was pretty slow from the yak and the whites were scattered - took my daughter up there again yesterday to let her have a go on the yak and only managed one fish but it was at the hottest point in the day

Any day hanging out with your son is the best time. Even when fishing is slow. Thanks for
the report bro. I know for a fact you would rather spearfish or dive for some abs and uni. :smt002

Way to get the young man on some fish (or did he get you on them?   :smt002).  I don't need pics - I can visualize.   :smt001  (mmmm, Carnitas...   :smt007 - I guess I do need pics to keep me on track!   :smt005 )
