It looked  like  it was going to  be  a  greatday.I met  acouple  of  NCKERs @  the  parking  lot(sorry Ive  forgotten names and  handles)I headed to the point on  the  southand  dropped ,there  was  lots  of bait  and soon I had a take  down,I set and  it  released.I was  using a lead head with a5 in trap as  a weight  on a 3 way  with shinner on hook and  stinger. What ever it  was shreaded the  fish trap leaving just  a remnant with a hook :smt011 I re-geared  and tried  again, afted 15 mins I get a tap and I gently set and  my  rod  loads and  loads  so I make  a good  set   and the  fish  goes  on   agreat  run.Im thinking  holy sh@#$ this  guy  has  some  shoulders  15  min  later and  my  arms   burnig I take  my pliers   to  the   hook  and  release the  biggest  leopard  I  have  ever seen :smt002 Im thinking 5 to6  feet,Icouldnt  lift him  to  take  a better  picture although I tried  many times.I got to tell you  he  was  so strong he  hit  me  acouple  times and  I  THOUGHT just let  him go :smt044I didnt  get into any halies but I had a great time,Gabe

Hey Gabe,
That was Shannon and me in the lot.
Our report, we caught......

Nuttin,
two mangled baits was all we had.  I didn't feel too bad though a watchinig the several party boats in the area, I never saw them grab for a net.
Oh-well, maybe next Saturday as we are thinking of going back there.
