Fished from noon-3pm off of First St., Benicia to see why no one was fishing there.  I thought I could beat the odds, but the odds won and I lost.  I caught zero trolling a silver/chartreuse kwikfish and Silvertron along the bottom in 5-15' of water.  One guy was using oars on a pontoon flyfishing rig in the strong upstream current and caught one legal and one throw-back Striper.  Two shore fisherman had zero.  The weather was terrific, the skies very clear, views great, and I got a fair amount of exercise, so despite no fish, it was a plus day.
