So me and the gf decided to take and enjoy our holiday weekend down in the monterey area. And was it Very Nice Beautiful weekend! First day we hit and launch from Sc Harbor and paddle straight out to the mile bouy! We fished and drifted from the mile bouy all the way back to the harbor for just a few scratch bites! Halibut Im sure as that is what we were going for and sardines were coming back shredded! Bites were really soft! Wind started to blow and we got off around noon! Then (Sat) we take our adventure to and from Lover's point in Monterey which was much better fishing! Launched right at around 6:30 and started to fish the kelp beds right out in front of the point! My baby hooks and catches 1 gopher right away but i decided to head North in search of deeper water and Bigger Fish! After about a mile paddle up near the farthest point in about 30-50ft of water AND AROUND KELP we started to hook up! Gophers, 1 short ling, My first cabezon, and Big yellowtail rf is what we were hooking up. She was drifting whole squid and i was using the jig! After about an hour or so up there we both had to go "Potty"(Damn coffee) lol, so we decided to go back to Lover'sPoint. We do our thang and head back out this time striaght out in front of the point. Windpicked up and was blowing from the west so we would catch 1 fish and paddle all the way back up! We continued to do this for another hour or so and picked up some more rf and she hooks up a legal ling! We ended the day with 14rf, 2 lings(1released), 1 cabezon, and quite few rf released! Not bad and quite a lovely weekend. I love Monterey!

Does she have any sisters?
Live your life, the way you want to be remembered. Don't have any regrets, we only get this one dance to make it count. Start at your eulogy, and work backwards.
