Just getting feelers for "Red Barn Classic" Tourney in the Fort Ross area

Been diving and fishing there since the late 70's. It aint what it once was and never will be again. The big red barn is gone now. Just a pile of wood and metal. We used to pay The Pedottis a trespass fee to get down there. The state took it back and fucked it up ever since.

So that means your in right

If you can get down to the lower parking lot you can launch there if its CALM. Abalone all over the north side of the main cove. Out on the reef on the south side halfway out there are so many abalone you cant count them all. Out at the end of the reef there are 3 shelfs that go down from 30 to 80ft. Great verm counrty. good lings on the north side of the reef up close but watch out for the NW swell. There is a spine that runs out at the north side of the cove from the point right off the parking lot lower . More good spots for lings and rockfish. Lost a ling there once whose head was as big as a basketball.
