Fishworks and I decided to hit Stampede today and boy it was a good choice  :smt003 Ricci wayyy outfished me today, I swore he had a fish on everytime I looked over at him. I did manage a nice Mackinaw early on at 25 down. All the kokes were on the top 15ft of water and the hot color was pink. I got the Mack on a crippler with a flasher, but then changed to pink for more action. Weather was ideal in the morning, but around noon the snow and wind was blowing, so we called it a (successful) day! Fishworks will chime in with his report and add more pics.

I haven't fished in two weeks.....so Tuesday I fished at Miller Park and Discovery Park (from shore) for shad and got the big fat skunk (I saw 1 fish caught off a boat the whole time fishing) and then Wed. at the minnow hole for a big fat zero, and then went to Berry on Thursday out of Markley for another skunk, so it was good getting into the fish today.

If anybody reads the WON news and seen that Stampede is on fire with the kokes, Me and Gary can definelty Vouch for that bite. Stampede is truly on fire right now with easy limits being the rule! I was limited out by 8:30 and then tried switching to Macks and toplining for trout but to no avail. Gary tho did catch one and that was kool to see! Had tons of  short strikes and a few LDR's too! All fish seemed to range from 12-14.5in but all fat and chunky! And yea pink seemed to be the color of choice today but also tried a blue RGT and was gettin hit on that too! Get your koke gear out and head to Stampede while the HOT BITE is on! Hell Hole coming up next!

Awesome repot! My son and I fished there 3-4 weeks ago and were blown off the lake within and hour.

No way!!! I was there fishing on Sat morn from around 8 am to 1pm. I guess I was on the wrong side of the lake. I was fishing the dam side and didn't really see any powerboaters around. I got only two strikes and 1 hook up. A 13 inch rainbow on a 1/4 Kastmaster not worth posting :smt001 I did find a cigarette butt in his belly, kinda gross. I was really hoping to hook up on the Kokanee. Nicely done Gentlemen

Were you guys using downriggers or leadcore?

I was using both, but fishworks was using a dropshot setup.

We fished just left of the boat ramp the whole time, and only 20-60 yards from shore.
