Started out with breakfast in Jamestown at Woods Creek Cafe.  Awesome food there. Launched at the 49 bridge at about 9am to calm water and mild temps.  Fished until 3:30 and ended up with a dozen or so fish between two of us. Most were dinks, but a couple of nice fish did come to the boat.  Used senkos, but most hits were short or they just didn't really want them. Most fish taken on a baby brush hog (pumpkin seed or watermelon) carolina rigged.  Very few missed fish on that set up. Most fish were in 10-20 ft of water. Tried jigs and crankbaits, but no luck. Could see fish on the bottom getting their bed ready or already on them. Water was really clear.  Wind picked up  in the P.M.  Overall the weather was mixed; we had sun, clouds, wind and rain. Saw an Osprey grab dinner off the surface.  Also ha the goat watch us fish for about 1/2 hour.  All in all, a great day.

Very cool report, to-the-point yet detailed with some nice pics! The goat looks like he thinks he owns that lake!

Sounds like a nice day on the water.  The C-rig is a great choice this time of year.  Great report.  Thanks.
