my entire tackle box has recently parted ways with me in favor of the bottom of the pacific and I was wandering if any one out there knows of any good cheap tackle stores in the Monterey area or any websites where I would be able to acquire some nice cheap replacements?
we can't always catch fish, but we can piss our girlfriends and wives off every weekend we get a chance.

If you need jig heads, you should look into Andy's stuff. Well made with wicked-sharp hooks.

You probably have a CVS around there right? I get my 3-4 oz jig heads down there for $3 for a 2 pack. The 9" scampi and curly tails are $1 each.

thanks for the pointers I've been looking and I just can't find 3 and 4 oz jigheads and bucktail jigs, I know I can get megabaits at j&d auto but there like 7 big ones. the reason I was asking is because I did reall well jiging a 3 oz striper jig tiped with squid in the kelp and I just cant seem to find them any where in person or on the net.
