Jim, you are a class act, and nobody was more deserving of that new boat than you are.  I really enjoyed meeting you and your family, and look forward to fishing with you again soon.

Eric, you are the man!  Thank you.

Yakhopper, thanks for the tackle to get me back out on the water yesterday, I managed a black to take home for my little guy to pig out on, thank you.

Eric, thank you for the beater and the gaff.

GN, thanks for freeing up my feet and salvaging one of my rods.

Keith, thanks for holding my yak so I could crawl back on.

Big Jim, thanks for offering me a beer as soon as I hit the seat, I will take a rain check and have one with you next time.

Al, thanks, you and your wife are fantastic.
Stoggie, you are good people, and cannot wait to hit stillwater with ya.

Everyone else, thank you for a phenominal weekend.

Spooner, where are you?  People want to talk to you about something........
Live your life, the way you want to be remembered. Don't have any regrets, we only get this one dance to make it count. Start at your eulogy, and work backwards.

Congrats Big Jim! You're the GS4 Slayer!  :fishing1

For all - I have the pics of the 19" Cabbie Jim caught and released. You all have to wait until I get home though since I am on the road and won't get back home to post the pics until Friday evening. Thanks to my Team Shark Bait team mates BigJim and fishinmike for the great fishing adventure and thanks to our host Eric BlackAB for loaning me his spare paddle.

Congrats again Jim! Will post the pics later this week. Sorry man my camera is home and I'm on the road.

Frank
I wouldn't go so far as to call a lingcod filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a lingcod's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Thanks for all of the reports and pics, er'body!

Big Jim - I've never even met you, but just by reading your posts and knowing what kind of person you are through your words - I also can't think of a more deserving GS4 Champ.

WTG!

I started kayak fishing to get away from most of you...

Many Many thanks to you on a job well done once again putting a great event for all of us to enjoy Eric. Big congrats to you BigJim on taking first
place and coming home with the new kayak. I'm sure you'll be catching and
slaying a lot more fish from here on. That kayak fits you perfectly BTW. :smt001

The potluck was awesome. There was so much food that we didn't have any
more room for the other dish that kept coming as the party went on.

Thanks Andy(FishMaster1) for saving me some slice of abs. Thanks James
(AbMan) for sending me home with an ab and Andy( BaitNBeer) for the Uni.
Dude, the Uni was great.

I am glad I brought my family this year. They had a wonderful time, specially
staying at the Inn where you wake up in the morning right in front of the ocean.

Looking forward to next year GSV.

I had a great time, thanks to everyone for making the weekend so special.

Special shout to BigJim, WTG!  Congrats.  My kids really enjoyed hanging out with your daughter, she is a sweetheart.

Thank you to FishFarmer for teaming up and the use of the radio and your extra rod after mine snapped.

I look forward to more weekends like this in the future.

Let's just say there was some aggressive seal activity both saturday & today. This pic is one of two different lings I caught that had been bitten. Not to mention the personal indignity inflicted upon me by a seal. But I did extract my revenge..... Thanks for the bat Guitarzan!  :smt005

Tell us what the seal did to you.

I have to add thanks to the camp owners for being extremely hospitable to us.. very nice people!

Also, was great meeting / fishing / crabbing with kayakjack.. it was huge having someone on the team who had been to SC and knew his way around.    I can officially say that team "TeamWithNoName #1" had a great time!
