New Bait tank was really tired of pulling R2D2 threw the water when I wanted to fish bait.

Went with a Large Dog/Cat food container purchased at Pet Smart

Then purchased the pump and battery case from Hook 1.

The Spray head was bought at a local marine shop.

Then got a set of rod holders might add two more not sure yet.

As well a a 6volt 12amp Battery.

To hold the tank town I have two bungees tied around the tank and connected to the kayak it is tight with not much play at all just enough to connect the clips.

Also added a rod holder to the front of the yak inorder to see my rod tip when drifting.

Is this how it works? The pump is dragged along in the water, pumping/spraying water into the tank? What happens to the overflow? Verrry interesting...
I just looked at the pics again, and I think I see the overflow holes near the spray head.
If you don't know where you're headed, any road could get you there.

Id have the same guess. It should drain out in the rear of the kayak and out the scuppers.

Nice set up man. It would be cool to have the pickup through one of the rear scuppers but it would be under the bait tank.

drains out of the sides i have 4 holes which our decent size but small enough that the bait wont get out. If I were to use it for minnows I may have a issue but wouldnt use it with minnows so I will be fine.

The pump just drags in the water creates little to no resistence. Having it in the scupper would be an option as well but I am using my scuppers for draining it. I could of had a tube for the drain so the water goes over and back into the water. Ill try and get some shots this weekend at catalina when its in use hoping to fill it with squid.  :smt003 :smt003 :smt003

Cool setup and nice container. Did you install a timer circuit or will you run it continuously when baits in it?? Just wondering what's the volume of water to the drain holes?
