Albion Memorial weekend

Just booked my campsite at Albion River and they have a few more for anyone interested. Got to do some research....

I'll be there too memorial day weekend. Looking forward to crabbing, fishing, catching abalone and sea urchins.

Does anybody have any tips on fishing? I think salmon is a little too optimistic for me, so I'll stick with rock fishing. My uncle used to go fishing there all the time with just a high/low steel leader with squid and did well, but it was always during the later months like in August or September. We would never get much in April or May.

Anyone interested I have an extra site reserved and will be giving it up unless one of my buddies commits or anyone else thinks they want it. Let me know ASAP.

hmm...although it is still early, the forecasts call for showers. i'm not too sure about the swells, but from past experience whenever there is bad weather, the swells are horrible. does anyone have any experience fishing/diving there when it is like this?


just a heads up to those who are going. here's to hoping that the weathermen are wrong and it'll be sunny and dry.

Only thing is u got to watch out diving with the DR he's a freaking seal 15-20ft  2ft viz.......not this kid....

at least u got to mooch that bowl of ciapinno from george on the side of the road...ahahaha not bad for a cook from sizzler  HUh?he made that stuff from scratch right at the campground.

for someone that didn't eat breakfest sat took food and didn't eat it OTW and fished till 3pm, Man, Andy I couldv'e ate your shoe....J/k   Hell Yeah that was killer, should of jumped in your truck and macked all the way to the grubfest...
