lingin in the rain

Me and a few friends did reall well out of carmel sunday, got to fish with some NCKA veterans and all four of us got atleast one ling up to the boat including a 31' pig that almost put me in the water, but it was raining so hard it wouldnt have mattered either way. All in all it was an epic trip and it's good to be back out rock fishing again. I thought I was going to lose my mind for a while there at the end of april.

It was good to hang with you guys out there Joey, and stick it out through the rain & sun, whales & dolphins. There was a weather window & we hit it juuust right.

I ended up with a nice assortment of quality rockies-ya gotta love a stringer of 5 fish with no duplicates on it!

The lings we released were mostly in the 23.95" range, so they'll be out there & legal for next season.

WTG on that big ling Joey and welcome aboard.
