Out at sunrise again this morn.  Missed you Scallen.  Scattered bait and birds from the harbor to 40 feet.  Spent most of the day S of the mile bouy targeting rockfish, 60 to 70 feet.  Water temp 57 to 58!  The fish were hugging the bottom again.

Scratched up seven and one keeper lincod.  Mixed bag - three vermillions, one copper, two golphers and a bolina.  Threw back another canary.  Must have caught eight lingcod on swim baits from 14" to 23."  went in at 11:00, never saw the wind.  The weather was beautiful.  Thanks for looking.

Nice catch!

I'm still wrestling with the concept of color matters so can you humor me and let me know what color swimbait worked?

Thanks and tight lines~!

thx for the report and pics.  It's nice to see a full game clip, especially having just returned from paradise skunked.
there were almost 30 kayakers, and ONE halibut by James.

That really shows the value of a fish-finder. I think that is number one on my list now. Great haul. Thanks for sharing.

I dont know, my fishfinder can show fish all over the place and yet I cant buy a bite.  Then other times I see nothing but get hit a lot.  Probably operator error!
