Newbie! Just introducing self!

Looking forward to learning as much fron you guys and contributing as well! I live in salinas and am looking for any advice ad to where to fish in the bay! Do u recommend calamRi or lures!!?? Can't wait to get kayak wett! Tight lines to all!!!

There's a ton of good info about fishing tips and gear selection on this board...just take some time and use the search function and I bet you will find 99% of what you are looking for..for the other 1% just holler out!!

thank you for the great welcome!! i look forward to fishing with some of you guys soon and getting to know about the area and fishing.  I have a good start by the info here, looking for company on the water.  Have yak, fishing rod and ready to get out there.  SO i hope to fish with you guys soon.  Thanks again for the welcome.

Yak, Fishing Rod and hopefully all your safety gear!! Like wetsuit, pfd, vhs radio, flares , air horn, gps, bilge pump/noodles, first aid kit, just to mention a few!!!

His therapy has not been helping him much is what I hear  Seriously you will have loads of fun if you hang with this group. There is always something to learn and fun to be had when we get together.
