Had my bro and my 3-year old along, so the kayak stayed on the rack for this trip.  A quick stop at Phils Props for two dozen secret agents and we were off.  Launched at Packers @ 9 am, found the first good looking cove and hooked up on the first cast.  My boy had a blast reeling it in, scrappy 14" spot.  They came quick over the next hour or so, most of my time was spent un-tangling lines, dishing out fruit snacks/crackers/candy, and re-positioning the boat.  The bite shut down at 11, but not before I stuck this piggy.  Lake level is only down about 5', nice to be able to fish the willows again!

Right on, Ben and Son!!  Great report.  It's great to see the lake up so high too.   :smt001

Really cool stuff there!  I could be wrong but he looks hooked.  Hopefully you have a fishing partner for life.

Thanks for the kind words guys.  And yes, he was born to fish (his brother too, but he's only 15 months).  Just picked up a tandem yak last night, so we'll get him hooked into his first yak-fish this summer.
