2009 Hobie mirage Adventure for a $1000

 The seller says it was only used a handfull of times and is like new. Was just wondering if you guy"s think it is worth that or should i pass on it? Comes with all the basics but is not rigged for fishing. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not a Hobie expert, but sounds like a great deal for $1000.  The picture looks like it has the sailing rudder.  does it come with turbo fins?  I recently purchased a gently used Adventure as well from FishEmotion.

Ask to see the original sales receipt. Unless you know the guy the price for that thing is too good to be true.

Like an idiot, I almost asked what year it was.  If it was an '06, I'd say be careful.  Just to be safe, you could always check the serial number and cross reference with Hobie to verify how old the yak is.

Like Tote said, it does seem too good to be true but we all know that one person who got a screaming deal and we were all envious.  Looks like it could be your turn.  If it comes with Turbo fins, this is downright stealing.

I'm with you and think that that is even better.  You get to accessorize as you see fit, and not have to do it over and deal with holes.
