Went to Hell...Hole and back

Met some friends, (nonyak) we all have them, at the lake . Head wind white caps and 2 hrs later I made it to the other end where the biting fish hang out . Water temp 44 degrees. Everyone was catching mostly ripping rappalas . Hard to do unless you have peddles. I went to the mouth of the river anchored in the middle used worms and crickets between me and friends we caught and released around 40 fish kept everything that swallowed a hook. Big fish of the day was 19". flat ass calm on the way back , no tail wind .

That looks like a fun day. The last time I was there the wind was just smokin'.  I have never been back in where you guys were. It looks fabulous. I wonder about topwater big browns at dusk.

i see troughed Fish, so it couldn't have been too hellish......the wind keeps me from going to places, that report constant wind or the places of higher percentage of high winds. Did i ever say that IhateWIND!!!
