Went out to my fav Marin Co beach today. Weather was perfect :smt001, couldn’t of asked for a better day. Got on the water about 0900. My g/f helped bait my pots :smt008 with some wild turkey carcass, striper/trout carcasses. I put in 3 hoop traps, about 15 dungies everytime I wound them up. Lots of small ones in close, moved to deeper water(40 ft) for biguns. Most of my limit was 6+, tried to pull mainly males but it doesn’t look like there is a shortage of crabs. Bounced the bottom with herringcicles for Mr Hali, no bites. Still haven’t popped my yakbut cherry :smt012, any moment…any moment…

Didn't lose any gear, got a limit of dungies, no complaints!

You guessed it kayakjack. It is less than an hour from my place in Vallejo. I want to try Doran sometime for some variety but don't really know the layout or the launch. I am thinking about Tamales Bay next Fri for the quad species combo, clam/crab/halibut/ghost shrimp!

Awesome catch. Was this over the weekend? I was thinking about diving for abs but the forecast looked crappy so I decided to work on the yard instead.  :smt013 The water in the photos looked calm. Congrats on the catch.
