Friday afternoon I hit the haunts off the Richmond shoreline hoping the outgoing tide would be "epic" like the last time that B.A. and I were out there. Beached the yak and cast white hair raisers, shad rap from shore for three hours straight with just two short stikes. Decided to test the yak and do some sight seeing around the brothers lighthouse. Before heading in I decided to hit one more tidal rip since the tide was incoming and WHAM! First cast yield my first fish (short schoolie) on yak. All though not a keeper, I'd say the stank is offically off my yak.
