Launched Moss at noon into the bump and slop and trolled out 2-3 miles for nada

F&G fish counter had seen 3 fish for 12 boats at noon, a couple of boats that passed me on way out had a few

One guy I talked to mooched one up from 320 ft

Sunny but nasty conditions

BK,
How far out did you go? When are you going next?

the F&G fish counter said Sunday some yakkers came in said they were out with the fleet

No salmon but somebody's making some serious effort anyway

Anybody know who that might've been?

That was yakuza and EWB...posted under fishing reports as "Go Deep at Moss"

They didn't quite get out as far as the fleet, and I think the weather that day was a little better than what you dealt with.  Must have been nice to be on the water chasing salmon again anyways Paul.  Nice trying!

Way to give Salmon fishing a try. Thanks for the report Paul.

Nice try Paul! If anyone could pull it off it would be you. All the fish we caught on a powerboat a couple weeks ago were at least 150 feet deep and as deep as 220'. I think mooching might be the way to go from a yak and probably with a one pound ball on a release with the way conditions have been?

I hope they move up and inside in the next couple months so we can have some local opportunities. Sounds like the Jelly is really bad around HMB so it's practically unfishable right now anyways.
