All,

I have been off of the water too long, and am trying to get back into it.

I don't have a vehicle right now, so getting my yak to the water is impossible without help.

The bass bite is ON at Oroville right now.  If you want to hit it up and can transport my yak too, let's fish.

(I'll supply the beer ;) )

Cris. Calif park (about 300 yards from the brewry) is a great little fishery. I think you have to get permission from a res. Check it out.

Yeah, access is restricted.  Almost impossible to get permission.

Don't have my float tube in Chico and can't really get either of them there anyway without my truck.

Still got a few months to go for that to happen.

Anytime.

I'm prolly gonna fish it from my buddies boat next week.  Fish are supposed to just be getting on the beds and 30 fish days seem to be the norm for 2-3# fish.

I'll be out of town till mid next week. When I get back I will be willing to give it a try up there. Was in Chico today, but weather would have sucked on the lake. I was taking yak but decided against it. Good choice. I'll post next week sometime.

I'm heading to Big 0 this w/e with a buddy and his 2 kids &  targeting Coho's.
There getting to be a good size now, in the 14-15" range and excellent eat.  I'm going to be on my HB and will be trolling around the green bridge.
I don't have my kayak, since it fell off my truck a few weeks ago after a day in Big Chico Creek.  I have filed a claim with Yakaima hoping that they'll cover my loss.   The Bow Down broke off the cross bar, then my yak came flying off.

I'm still at SNBC.  I'm in the R&D lab now, where I belong.

Doing science, researching beer.  Awesome.

Unfortunately my buddy is out of town this weekend, as it should be off the hook with the weather turn.  My guess is the bass go nuts this weekend.

Hopefully that bite will hold to next week and after.

Welcome Back! long time. It sound like you accomplished your task since the last time we heard from you.

If i didn't live so far from you I would take up the bass hookup!

Oroville is on FIRE right now.  Buddy is having family scheduling issues.

Anyone want to haul me and the yak to the lake gets free beer.

Largemouth and spotties.

Yeah, on the weekend the PB traffic (now that word is out) is going to be pretty heavy.
