The Butt hunt previously planned for Wednesday 4/21 is now on for Friday 4/23.  I will stop at Loch Lomond for Shiners around 6:30 - 7:00 and head directly to Paradise.  So far, I'm picking up Shiners for Hamachi John, Hobie Dave and myself.  If anyone else is joining the group and needs me to pick up bait, let me know.  The wind and rain forecast looks much better!  Does anybody know if there has been bait in the water at paradise lately?  At $1.50 per shiner, I would rather catch them myself with a Sabiki if they're around.

Thanks guys.  I'm hoping we can make our own with the sabikis.  I'll call Loch Lomond tomorrow.

Good call on the reschedule to Fri. Martin. We should enjoy the best weather of the week. Now predict catching some Butts. This will be my first time using shiners, beginners luck in the cards? I hope so! Sure hope Sonny can make it also. Wish Jed could as well, but I know duty calls. dave...

I just called and confirmed that Loch Lomand Bait has shiners.  They don't open until 7:00 so it will probably be closer to 7:30 before I get to Paradise.  So far I'm getting bait for Me, Dave and John.

Martin,

I'd appreciate your picking up some bait for myself.

Thanks

Will do, Ben.  We were thinking of just getting 6 shiners each and hopefully we can jig for more if we need them.  I'll pick up 2 dozen to be split 4 ways unless I hear differently from anyone.
