SRJ, Domenic and I had some awesome conditions out at the north end of the Lost Coast today.  We hooked up out there around 7:15 this morning and hiked down the beach to a long time favorite spot.  The wind didn't blow, the sun was out, the water was pretty nice, and we had a ball diving and fishing.  I pulled a 9.75" that was a slug at over 8 pounds.  Shannon pulled a really nice 10"+ that went over 7 pounds.  Domenic caught three lings from the rocks - the first two being 28 and 30 inches!  I caught a cabbie.  SRJ caught a short ling and a black.  We hoofed it back up the beach, had a cold one and hit the road for home around 2PM.  What a day!   :smt001

Nice job guys. I tried for salmon, trolled between the bell and whistle. Conditions were great but no keepers.  Had a shaker salmon on as well as black snapper and a nice vermillion.  Mostly had fun with my fish finder I just mounted.  Just a matter of time and the salmon will be in force here in the Cove.

Eric, what was the choice of candy for the lings ect?
The shot of you w the pack on reminds me of the guy that waked across Austraila. He was loaded for 3 months not 3 miles.
