Do not really know if this unit would work on a yak.  From my boat, upgraded to a Lowrance hds=7 combo unit.  This unit is free.  But I would prefer it go to someone who is financially challenged these days.  Student, or out of work.  It is also listed on anglernet.net for the same price.  Unit is located in Pleasanton.
