So many people to thank for this trip. :smt007
Sonny for bringing his halibut mojo to rub on me.  First Butt on a kayak for me and he was nice enough to tag along and show me the ropes.  Hobie/dave for giving me four of his suicide minnows.  Otb/sharky/and dave for the good company and of course the good weather. :smt003
nothing happening for the first 5 hours so We all hugged the beach and that's when I used the last two minnows.  Those things last about a minute and a half in the water but I figured I must have hit the butt on the top of the head when i dropped them in for it did not take more than 10 seconds before the fish started to take my line.  Jumped out of the net the first try to land it :smt013 and IN on the second try. :smt002  A couple of lap dances and it was time to meet the BAT!   :smt021

Met Dave/Vjo.Hobie-Dave, Allen/Otobepelagic, Niko/Sharky, and Dave/Relentless at the parking lot around 7:30am.  Jeremy (not yet NCKA member) showed up a little later and returned my PFD that I left on the dock @ Black Point last Wednesday (must be a senior moment)  :smt003  We chat about our NCKA community and invited him to visit our site.  If you reading this post, I appreciate and thank you for returning my gears.

Before I even got OTW, heard on the radio "Lap Dance" turned out Allen/OB2 caught and released a 22.5" Hali.  But since he didn't take any picture of the fish, it never happened  :smt044

It's nice all morning but a little windy in the afternoon.  I really enjoyed the weather and great company. Congrat for the very first Hali at Paradise Allen!  Some pictures of the day...

Thanks for the report guys.   A couple more months on the Grand Jury and I'll be free to fish any day again.  Paradise is a beautiful place and even better when the Butts are biting.

Awesome job guys! I'm bummed I couldn't be there with you. I used up most of my WAF account last week.

Glad you guys saw some action and enjoyed a nice day on the water!

Now that I've done my part of the bargain, when can I expect my giant Catfish from Ranch 99?  :smt003

So fine being in Paradise again. Sonny you are my favorite weatherman. Just as you predicted 90% of the time weather was great. Glad to finally get to meet and fish with Allen/hightide. At the bottom of the hill, my non die-hard battery failed the test. Headlights were left on. Thank you Allen for fetch'n the cords and suppling the juice, Vjo. dude rocks. Thanks going to the other Allen for the pre-game fix, I'm sure the items and tips will help my score. I may eat skunk this time, but fish will happen. dave...

Sharky's smiling in that picture, but I know he's pissed he didn't get that fish! Dude get a reel job! I can't believe you guys all fishing on a Tues.  :smt003

Sorry... I'm just pissed I had to work on a brutal wire pull (in-the-mud) rather than fish. I'm still bent after the weather snubbed me this past weekend after making all kinds of bait. Catch and release shiners???? Jeez.

Good job guys! Lets' see what ARW will cough up this weekend.
