Nice fish Pablo. I have been fishing Del Valle for over 40 yrs off and on, and have never caught a trout even close to yours. It must have been exhilarating. WTG.

Thanks guys. I fish Del Valle about once a month if Im lucky. Great lake for kayaking. Right now the trout are stacked up under the bridge way up river by the camp ground. The lake is as full as I have ever seen it. Good luck!

Nice!  :smt004

I've caught a few 5 and 6 pound fish at DV, and I've heard of 15lb trout there, but yours is the biggest trout I've seen. Congrats!

Love Del Valle. Caught my biggest one there in '07 = 10.9 pounder. It seems like the trout bite is always better when the lake is full.
