nah the p13 doesn't have a sonar shield and the transducer compatible scupper is in the rear.

ok if you buy a humminbird ff there will a tec support line you call them and say i have a ocean kayak and i need the scupper transducer and can i get the conformation number, they will give you the number you mail them the transducer only and in about a week or so you will get the scupper one back now the best part it is free, them you put it in the hole in the scupper in the back run the wire into the yak to the front and you are done

You can retro-fit most transducers for a scupperhole installation. After trying every shoot-through installation, the scupper hole gives you:
1. Reliability
2. Better signal
3. Water temperature

Don't get suckered into thinking you have to buy a Humminbird either to use the scupper hole.  :smt011

Here is how I did mine:

It works much better than the thru hull.
