I wouldn't go so far as to call a lingcod filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a lingcod's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Which is why we should all wear our PFD.  If that happened to me OTW I would most likely be found unconscious in the water.  I get a kick out of crashing on my bike and getting injured sometimes but a hook through my finger like that is up there with a blood test - I'm going to pass out.
