Thanks never bought a Revo cause I thought they were priced too high but I can live with this. They also have Loomis HSR9000 for $191.25 one of the best all around rods ever. I heard they are discontinuing these in all but the IMX so if you ever break it they will have to upgrade you to the IMX :smt007.

Thanks for the link. I am considering picking one of these up but I have a couple questions.

Does the star drag adjustment handle stay put wherever you put it? On my Penn it always seems to loosen up and come out of adj.

Has anyone tried spooling theirs with mono or is this a braid only type of spool?

You might be missing a washer or lube

Don't think so. Alan Tani went thru it. It did it before & after. Probably operator error. Time to break out the credit card again cause this deal probably won't last long.

just scored one.

muthascratcha!!!  I just got the most annoying call from some a-hole.  Seems like they booked all inventory as sold prior to my placing my order, yet they took my order anyway.  I'm not sure how I feel about that from a legal standpoint (offer, accepted offer, exchanged $$ = delivery obligation)...

if I get bored on the caltrain this pm, i might have to draft a bigfoot letter
