Looking for salmon windows - 4/7/10

I might have the family convinced to go with me to the Cove tomorrow for some boogieboarding while I get to troll!  Add to that the pic that 'boogieman' posted on the GS4 thread of a salmon caught today at the Cove - one of "5 or 6", and I'm all jazzed!

Shelter Cove's first salmon of 2010 - among about half a dozen caught yesterday!

 

I know a couple boats tried to go out opening Sat+Sunday too. Not sure how they did, but they stayed close to the cove due to nasty conditions. Get out there right now BA! What are you doing typing? The NOAA marine point forecast says it's calmer up there than it is down here, for once. And this wknd looks fishable too.

It's a political situation, Sin!  I'm balancing work obligations, family obligations, travel logistics...  I should re-train as a Fishing Planner!   

I hope to be dragging chove by 2:30...   

Well i got the skunk paddled 15 miles for nothing at all... A little bit sore back but warm up for this weekend...

I hit some nice water this afternoon.  I'll get a report up soon, but no blood yet.
