       It's not April 1 :smt005, I checked with Web sites and all the Cattle Boats are booked untill Monday in Santa Cruz. It's going to be a short Season.

Good luck E....they're both a crapshoot at this point.  I woulda opted for Paradise, conditions might be a little more comfy there :smt003

Bounce the Belly for Halibut.  :smt002
     I know it might be a little Hairy but, I make sure to take my Wetsuit
and VHF Radio. It's going to be packed so, I think there will be plenty
