It's a nice morning with glassy water til the wind came up around noon time.  Not much catching for most of us except for Hobie Dave who caught a nice Kitty on night crawler.  Congrat to you Dave as you're the AOTD!  It's nice to meet many NCKAers again and say "Goodbye & Goodlucks" to Jay & Theresa.  The food was great as always and everyone there had a good time!  Here are pictures of the day...

It was nice to be able to stop by and say hello and my goodbyes, even if for only a couple minutes.  Wish I could have stayed longer but circumstances wouldn't allow.

Son,  thanks for the pics.

We left our camera at home and had to use a cheap disposable one. Maddy has a new BFF in Danielle. They we're walking at the waters edge a few times hand in hand.

Wish you all the best J & T!!!!!

Wish we could've made the send off. Had little league literally all day today. It's all good though. Looks like a great outing... NCKA style.

Wish you guys all the best.

What a beautiful day we all had at Lake Del Valle to say our good bye and best
wishes to one of our coolest couple in NCKA. We will all miss you Jay and Theresa.
Almost forgot about Steve and Bessie. They will be missed too.

The kids had fun being on the kayak for the first time. Here's some pictures to share.

What a great day yesterday! Thank to everyone who came to DV yesterday, and for the great send off. The fishing sucked, but in true NCKA style the food was awesome! Special thanks to Ben and Anita for making the cake.  :smt007

Theresa and I have loved being a part of NCKA over the past several years and we can honestly say that this group is what we will miss the most about California. However, we aren't dropping off the face of the earth, so if any NCKA members are ever up in the Spokane, WA/Coeur d'Alene, ID area you should look us up! Likewise we'll be in touch when we come back to the Bay Area for a visit.

Joel: This is a real Philippino desert. Jay: Oh, is it made with real Philippino's? We're going to miss that wit.
And thanx for sharing all the knowledge on fishing/hiking and all that stuff...beer...sake.... Jimmy Buffet...
You guys take care and keep those fishing reports coming in no matter where you go! One of these days we're going to need another forum for displaced NCKAers. England,Phil n M'Lady, Idaho/J n T, Alaska/Mooch, HI/JTF...
