Joel,

Do you want one in the Half Moon Bay area? I never believed in Chiropractors until I met Mike Lund in Felton. He is not a "checkbook" chiropractor. We've been going to him for more than 20 years, he is fantastic.

If you want, I can give him a call and maybe he knows a reputable one in your area.

Just let me know my friend.

Rich

Welcome to the club mooch. I just spent 7 days in bed with a sciatic nerve problem. Went to the spine doc and they told me I now have arthritis in my lower spine and a bulged disk. It just better at 50's cant wait for the 60's.

I lived down the street from Junkyard Dog back in Rowland Heights.  I'd be pleased to give you the old Pro-Wrestling backbreaker move, no charge.  It'll produce a fresh articulation at your T-spine guaranteed.

Otherwise, Hoffman & Moore Chiropractic.  884 Portola Road, Portola Valley, CA 94028-7265.  (650) 851-4860‎.  Check out Catherine Fox for massage, if she's still working there.  Double gold medalist from Atlanta who knows the body.

And re: 40, its all about the maintenance of the vehicle, not the make or mileage.   :smt001

DR. to Joel: " I'm very concerned about your neck Joel. It seems that you have no cervical curve in your neck. What in the world have you been doing to your neck."

Joel to DR. " Nothing Doc, hey let me show you my kayak carrying posture" (presents photo from Sailfish's post).

DR to Joel: " Have you completely lost your mind, you're 40 years old !!"

Joel to DR: "Oh"........

Sonny....why do you think I paddle the Prowler 13 .....cause it's the lightest kayak that I could hump up that little Bean Hollow hill :smt002

Totally agree there Martin...but here's my sad story (grab the Kleenex box)

mooch...actually my nickname back then was "Goat".....anyway, at age 14, "da goat" was a member of the Philippine Junior National Soccer Team that was invited to play at the prestigious Gothia Cup in Sweden (World Cup for kids). On the way to Sweden, we played at the Helsinki Cup and placed 11 out of 65 countries. And in Sweden, we placed 7th out of 75 (not bad for a bunch of third world Islanders that never played in astro turf :smt011) Anyway, I'm telling you this story because as a youth, I used to not stretch for warm ups and cool downs....which is a big "no-no" for any athlete (did I mention that I used to run marathons as well) Did the same when I started competing in doubles beach volleyball tournaments in Santa Cruz (in my late 20's) So, now I'm paying for my sins :smt011 Basically, my bones are no longer bones...they are now called fossils :smt001

But thanks to utube...my volleyball skills were captured during a fish and chill trip to Lake mendo..
