Pretty slow day for me.  Got on the water around 10 am.  No wind and pretty warm.  Missed my first two trout of the day.  They both ran with the powerbait for a little while and then dropped it.  Got my first fish around 12:30 pm and last fish at 2 pm.  Both little DFG stocker 12" and 13".  I left at 3 pm.  Just got tired of sitting on my yak.

Just before I left I had a pair of Mallards (Ducks).  Messing with my lines and looking for a hand out.  The hen jumps on my yak and I took a few pics.  I would have invited them home for dinner.  But, they would have been dinner.

Yakhopper,

Eastbay Lakes the PFD just has to be in reach.  You do not have it on.  There are no gas motor boats allow on this lake.  Also, I sit on a boat cushion which is a flotation device.
