Headed out to Pyramid today.  The lake was looking nice.

I headed up to Warrior Point.  The nice thing about Warrior is you can drive up to the waters edge and literally unload the kayak and drop it on the waters.

I trolled up to the point with no luck but I did mark some fish on the FF.  I tried jigging for them but again struck out.  I decided to try the downrigger and dropped it down to 20 ft.  I got a hit but it didn't stick.  A little while later, another hit and this one stuck, a nice little 20 incher.

That would be it for the day.  I fished from 1:00 to 6:15pm.  Surface water temp was 45 df.

Nice report Pete!  Love the look of that trout!!  :smt007  What kind of spoon is that in the last pic?  That what you jigged with, or just trolled?

Oh that's a good one Pete! It was nice meeting you at Forebay.   :smt006
I wouldn't go so far as to call a lingcod filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a lingcod's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

That's a gold Thomas Bouyant.  It's the same lure that caught the 20" striper at O'Neil Forebay last month.  Hmm, maybe I need to use a bigger lure to catch bigger fish?
