So Myself and New Member Rhimepy decided to hit the local goodwill store for some butterknives and have some fun getting ready for the RF opening. :smt003  We figure it was going to be a piece of cake drilling the silverware.  We were wrong!!! :smt013  We ended up needing the assistance of a good friend who had every tool a man could ask for. :smt002  This guys work garage is bigger than my house :smt003

Nice work , fun isn't it . I found it easier just to remove the blade all together and drill just the handle . Lot of work and time to keep that small piece of metal .Score the blade with a grinder and snap off in vise . Quick and easy.

Nice job on the knife jig Allan. Yeah I've been in Raul's garage before. Not hard
not to envy his garage definitely. Hey can you spare one of those jig just to see how it'll work for me? :smt002

Thanks for the Cobalt bit advise.
We did use up 3 bits but I think they were worn out from the start.

I was at his workshop this afternoon and saw your knife jigs.  Almost "borrow" one of them  :smt003

What about something to cut them down to size.
