I'm not too into deer hunting, but wouldn't mind baggin' a hog.

I have only been hunting a few times (for deer and we never even took a shot!), so I don't know much about the sport. But the one thing I really really appreciate is the respect that hunters give their prey. It's an admirable trait and I wish more anglers took the same approach.
I've been silently following your posts Juan and I have to say Well Done! That must be an incredibly satisfying feeling. Thanks for bringing us w/you!

   Congratulations Juan! You put in your time  and it paid off with a very porky pig. You are a master at field dressing a wild hog. One thing I did learn from your adventure.....putting the animal down on the ground is only the start of the journey.

   I wandered near your special spot this morning. Wished I had got there way earlier. I set up in some good cover and about ten minutes later without warning two monsters (lighter colored with brown spots  you mentioned) snuck up on me over the ridge....turned broadside and left.....all in five seconds. I was mid draw when they slid back over the edge..... don't think they saw me. Dam things made no noise at all and neither did I.  On the walk back to the truck this morning I passed the scene of yesterday's "surgery". Seems as though the post-op clean up crew worked overtime...spic and span...not a trace!

Dayy-um. That is some serious protein right there.
