Not sure but it also read: "Craig Davis getting ready for this year Albion's Open"  on the ad.

I asked Claveys if they would help the Albion tounament by sponsoring some prizes and they have responded in a big way. Real big. I forwarded them some pics from last year and an e-mail describing the event. They in turn went to thier sales reps. I posted on the Albion thread that they have given us a pair of tempest dry pants and a stholquist fishermans PFD. Now if I am hearing Scott correctly Ocean Kayak will be doing a major, major donation. Since all the proceeds from this years event will go to a group yet to be selected(that fight groups wanting max closures for the north zone) any free prizes that we dont have to pay for out of registration fees is great. So, please support the people who support us. Claveys is in my town of Petaluma and Scott, Jeff and Tom are my friends. First rate guys. They also have many different classes at Claveys, Check it out. Craig    www.claveys.com

I knew that there was something special about Craig. I just couldn't pin point
what it was. Alas, he is a famous celebrity around the kayak community. :smt002 Thanks for all the hard work you've been putting in for
all of us to enjoy. I've actually had given Clavey some of my business already
and will continue on. Nice folks they have there in that store.

sorry to threadjack.  On the photo with Craig, what's that short rod to the left of the photo?  I haven't seen a rod like that before, and if it's good for RF, lings and hali's, I'd be interested in purchasing one...
If so, recommended length, action, etc. please...

I'm printing out that flyer and carrying it in my wallet. Then whenever I meet somebody new I'll proudly point to the picture and say:
"I know that guy! No really, I do! I've even fished with him!" Then they will look upon me in awe and jealous admiration.  :smt044

Seriously, nice work on getting sponsors to kick down some prizes for the event. Maybe this year you'll win it. Just keep an eye on your depth. :smt005 :smt002

Craig,

Way to go, working with Clavey. I've never purchased anything from them (they're not convenient geographically) but I applaud their efforts to support kayak angling in CA.

Not nearly a threadjack, just normal discourse, where the topic at hand is somewhat fluid. I'd like to know as well.
