Dave & I arrived Lawsons around 11:15am and hit the water before noon.  Dropped the 2 crab pots near the pier and started fishing for Perches.  The out going current was ripping so no love from the Perches.  Got back to the truck to get the clamming gears around 2:30pm and pedalled/paddled to the clam beds and started having fun.  Saw a couple of boats & 2 non NCKA kayakers out there digging clam but the place was not crowded at all.  Got our limits from only 3 holes and ate some Sashimi on the spot with Wasabi & soy sauce and it's delicious!  Talked to one of the non NCKA yaker and he only got 1/2 limit and was heading back in.  We pulled the pots on the way back.  No Dungie only 3 large Reds.  Took picture of a dead Dungie on the beach.  Thank you Dave for picking me up and we couldn't ask for a better day weatherwise!!!  Some pictures of the trip...

We ate some last night, gave some to the next door neighbor, and saved some for tonight Eastbay NCKA's gathering at Pizza Pirates.

WTG Sonny and Dave! I can't wait for the next hookup. Nothing beats fresh sashimi right on the
beach. Thanks again Dave for sharing. See you guys tonight at the pizza and bear get together.
