Met up with Fishworks and Makinitcount today at granite bay.  we all trolled over to the dam and around for a while (I logged 6.5 mi)
Two fish to the boat, one in the boat for me.  Came home with a 14in Koke on a toplined Kastmaster.  the other fish was a little bigger but come unbuttoned as I was putting my net in the water...oah well.

Fishworks made up a mean BBQ with his deer burgers and Makinitcount's steaks...AWESOME food guys!

I know there are pics from the day waiting to be posted...and I'll let the other guys tell more.

Good job on the King - Rockfish! I blew it not taking a picture of you with your fish. :smt011 Last week I landed 7 fish, today 0  :smt010 but Rockfish and FishWorks got into a few nice ones, so it was all good! I did get a bunch of hits by the dam, but small hits so no loss. Lunch was off the hook, especially the venison burgers :smt003 yummmmm. On the water around 7:00am and off at 5:00pm, FishWorks hooked into a very nice bass later in the day, and I was close enough to get a few good pictures. Since dfg just planted at Granite Bay, there were a bunch of shore anglers hooking up constantly, but they all looked very small.

Pictures added, so enjoy! I have a few more pics. to post still and Fishworks will be adding to the post too!

Since the water is high, the best place to launch is right of the boat launch. It's the far right corner of the park. Once you enter the park, at the first stop sign make a right, and then another right and follow the road to the end. They lifted the 5mph speed limit on Thursday too. Good Luck out there!!!
