Made a quick run up to my local lake on my hour lunch, had the kayak rigged and ready to go before work. Threw they yak in the water and started trolling a Kastmaster and a small Rapala.

It was beautiful with snow from the day before, blue skies and a guy with a remote control airplane.

I didnt mark one fish, because I knew they havent stocked the lake in over year because the lake was on the no stock list, but it will finally be stocked this spring.

I made it once around the lake and loaded up the kayak, hit Subway and headed back to work. I think I will do this once a week. But I have a feeling if they stock the lake I will be late a few times  :smt003

Sweeet brother, way to be! I used to topline Tahoe from the yak before work and at lunch somedays, when I was working :smt010 Caught some pretty nice trout before work and at lunch which made gett'n up early and the harassment from my fellow nail bangers. Noth'n better than being the first guy to the job site and have a 5 pound Brown or a 10 pound Mack in your hand! Thanks for the report and good luck, Eric :smt001

I'm starting to dislike you just based on jealousy of your location.  Just kidding but thanks for the report.  Andy

Jeff,

Where do you work in Arnold and question 2 did you grow up there? If you did, you were in my kids class if you were at the elementary school. I sure miss living up there but my mom still does. Hopefully we can get together when trout season hits and have a blast catching them in the kayaks.
