Last 2 outtings trolling hooked up a couple of planters. 1 6.8lb last week and 1 6.11lb yesterday Have been trolling on the surface to 5ft. Water temp (surface) is riseing was 56 degrees yesterday. I have desided to keep only what I consider smoker size. Have been averageing 3 to 4 hook ups per outting. My time per outting 4 to 6 hrs. My go to lure is the Rapala shad rap ssr7 steel color pattern. dives to 5ft. at 2mph gps. My success I credit to covering a lot of water. I,m just like that entergizer Rabbit I just keep going and going. Time spent I get a lot of thinking done You never know when the next planter will hook up.
